Some things we listened to "back in the day" hold up, and others don't--like a lot of the songs we hear at the grocery store today. This still deserves a listen. I had this on cassette and tried to wear it out. Like an old girlfriend I lost touch with this recording. I rediscovered it at Art, Sound, Language, an oasis of cool way up there on Connecticut Ave NW. (Do yourself a favor, stop in there.) I picked this up for peanuts, (thanks PJ) and it time-warped me back to the 80's in a good way. English rockabilly with swagger. Unfortunately, I never saw them live but take a look here and you can see it would have been a rave up. My Way - Rockats What cassette did you wear out??
